Advances in Cancer Treatment, Dr. Arlan Fuller

Arlan Fuller, Jr., MD, is the Clinical Vice President for Oncology

services at Winchester Hospital.  The map of the human genone has increased our understanding of abnormal genes in cancer.  Dr. fuller will address how the identification of specific genetic mutations can lead to "personalized cancer medicine."  He will give an overview of the nature of cancer and will try to bring some of the complex and esoteric concepts of cancer biology to a level that will be practical and understandable to the public.
