Seniors of today have experienced many changes in their lives, their environment and the world. For instance, technological wizardry has produced modern conveniences and has lengthened lives. Mobility and affluence have often meant that children move away from the area. Everyone reacts to these changes differently. Some can find them difficult.
Seniors who have experienced change previously can be supportive to others experiencing change currently. The Living With Change Group, led by Diane Saparoff, MSW, is open to all who have or who are experiencing change. It focuses on making life positive in spite of the changes, and it focuses on meaningful activities that provide pleasure.
