Concert for Kids! featuring music from The Nutcracker

Winchester Community Music School presents the first in a series of three "Concerts for Kids!" on Sunday, December 5 at 2:00 pm at the Next Door Center for the Arts located at 40 Cross Street in Winchester.  This event features WCMS faculty members and friends performing music from Tchaikovsky's "Nutcracker Suite" along with narrator and costumed Nutcracker characters.  General admission tickets are $5 each and children should be accompanied by an adult.  Tickets are available for purchase online or in person at Winchester Community Music School located at 407 Highland Avenue in Winchester.  The event is generously sponsored in part by the EnKa Society and RE/MAX Leading Edge.

This concert is a "kid friendly" event focusing on the great music from classical composer Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky.  It's a wonderful introduction to classical music in fun, family setting.  The story of the "The Nutcracker" will be narrated to accompany the music and costumed Nutcracker characters from Ballet Arts Centre will be available before and after the performance for photos with the children.  Copies of the Nutcracker story will be available for sale at the event, courtesy of BookEnds.

Seating at the Next Door Center for the Arts is limited.  Advance ticket purchases are strongly encouraged.  Tickets may be purchased online or in person at Winchester Community Music School.  Infants that do not require a seat do not need a ticket to attend but must be held on the lap of an adult.
