Please join us this Sunday, December 18 for a Festival of Lessons and Carol & Christmas Pageant! On Sunday morning, at 10:00 a.m., we will weave together scripture, poetry and song, calling on readers and musicians from all ages and stages, tracing a spiritual progression that carries us from prophecy to fulfillment, from Old Testament foretelling to New Testament celebration of the birth of Christ. Our service includes a Christmas Pageant for the children of our church school. The pageant is integrated into our Lessons and Carols, and includes both the Junior and Cherub Choirs. The Senior choir will present James Woodman's extravagantly beautiful cantata, The Midwife's Tale, in which Zachel, a midwife enlisted by Joseph to attend to Mary at the time of Christ's birth, tells her version of the nativity story.
