In honor of Black History Month, the Peace and Justice Committee of St. Mary’s Church and the Multicultural Network will present a screening of excerpts from Race, the Power of an Illusion on Sunday afternoon, February 13 at 2:00 p.m. in St. Mary’s Church Hall, 162 Washington St..
This powerful documentary informs us as to why the peoples of the world cannot be divided into distinct biological groups, traces the origins of racism in this country, and documents the effects of institutional racism on housing. The Peace and Justice Committee will present its annual award to the Multicultural Network.
