Winchester Recreation Presents Free Family Concert and Barbecue at Borggaard Beach

Winchester Recreation is presenting a fun twist to its free summer concert series: its July 27th concert featuring Roger Tincknell, a two-time Parents' Choice Award-winning recording artist, will be held at Borggaard Beach!  This will provide a much sought after opportunity for residents to be able to enjoy extended beach hours, listen to wonderful music, and enjoy good food with family and friends.  

The concert event will be held Wednesday, July 27th from 6:00 pm to 8:30 pm.  Admission to the beach will be free at this time.  For those who are not beach members and would like to make a $5 dollar donation, 100% of the proceeds will go directly towards the purchase of a new amenity for the beach.

Attendees are welcome to bring their own picnic dinners, but The Chill Zone, starting at 5 pm, will be grilling hamburgers and hotdogs and will also serving slush for attendees.  50% of the proceeds from concession sales will be put towards additional amenities at the beach, such as shade or a new above ground element.
