Faculty Chamber Music Concert - Saturday, February 7, 7:30 PM

Join us for an evening of 19th and 20th century classical chamber music performed by the talented WCMS faculty.

“For My Love, In Joy and Sorrow: A Dedication”
Each year, Winchester Community Music School presents its annual Faculty Chamber Music Concert. Join us for an evening of 19th and 20th century chamber music performed by the talented WCMS faculty. This year’s program will include Piano Quintet in E-flat Major Op. 44 by Schumann, and String Quartet No.7 in F-sharp minor Op. 108 by Shostakovich. Both of these works were dedicated by the composers to their wives. Faculty performers include Karen Oosterbaan and Olga Patramanska-Bell, violin; Alex Vavilov and Noralee Walker, viola; Anne Bennett, cello; Olga Talroze, piano; and Adriana Ausch-Simmel, soprano. The concert will also feature WCMS violin student Tomaso Mukai. Held in Nichols Hall at WCMS, 407 Highland Avenue, Winchester.
