Faculty Recital Series with Gabriel Solomon - Monday, March 16, 7:30 PM

Join Winchester Community Music School’s violin faculty member Gabriel Solomon for an evening of jazz and world music. Solomon navigates through jazz, Balkan, and original compositions, combining instrumental textures from classical violin and jazz quintet to clawhammer fretless guitar and world percussion. Compositions by Solomon, Tev Stevig, John Zorn, and Cory Pesaturo, along with traditional Balkan music. Performers include Tev Stevig, guitar; Dave Bryant, piano; Brad Barrett, bass; and Brian O’Neill, drums and percussion. A “Meet the Artist” reception will follow.
