Front Wards, Back Wards

Documentary about the Fernald School

A screening of the documentary Front Wards, Back Wards is scheduled for Thursday, October 27 at 7:30 PM at the Jenks Center, 109 Skillings Rd. The film documents the history of the Fernald School in Waltham and its treatment of individuals with developmental disabilities over the decades of its operation. Filmmaker William Rogers will answer questions following the screening. This event is free and open to the public.

Winchester Reads, now in its fifteenth year, is sponsored by the John and Mary Murphy Educational Foundation and coordinated by the Winchester Public Library, the Winchester Multicultural Network, Book Ends, and volunteers.
