Infographic: Could You Survive Without a Car in Winchester?
Data from FindTheHome.com gave a "WalkIQ" walkability score to each community in Middlesex County. Do you agree with their findings?

WINCHESTER, MA—Few people would mind never having to pay upwards of $60 to fill up their gas tank, but we all know that is not a possibility in many communities.
Particularly in Winchester, where many residents living outside of areas such as Winchester Center may find themselves hopping in the car to complete the most necessary tasks. What would happen if you didn't have a car? Would you be able to survive without one?
FindTheHome.com attempted to tackle that question. The real estate listing and research website issued a "WalkIQ" walkability score for every city and town in Middlesex County. The WalkIQ is a relative score measured by finding the number of stores, amenities, points of interest and parks that are within walking distance for the median home in each community

Communities were given a score between 0 and 100 Winchester received a "WalkIQ" of 78, which is on the higher end of the spectrum in the county. Neighboring communities such as Woburn (75) and Winchester (65) scored slightly lower.
