Jennifer Lawrence Movie Filming in Winchester This Week
The filming of the movie "Joy" has closed off roads in downtown Winchester until Friday.

A movie that goes by “Joy” and “Kay’s Baptism” has been filming in Winchester this week.
The film is starring Jennifer Lawrence, Robert De Niro and Bradley Cooper.

Crews were spotted filming on Waterfield Road near the Black Horse Tavern on Tuesday, On Location Vacations reported.
The Town of Winchester announced there will be parking restrictions in the downtown area from Tuesday until Friday, which is likely connected to the filming in the area.

Restrictions were placed on the following roads: Church Street (near the Town Common), Laraway Road and Dix Street.
This area will be closed off due to filming at the First Congregational Church, 21 Church St, according to a post on the Winchester, MA Residents Facebook page.
“Joy” documents the life of a single mom from Long Island who turned out to be one of the most successful entrepreneurs in the country, the movie’s IMDB page says.
The crew and cast has been filming in Wilmington and North Reading over the past month.
After they finish filming in Winchester, the cast can be found in North Reading on Monday, March 23.
