LETTER: 'Rep. Day Needs to Be Honest About Being a Part-Time Legislator'
Winchester Republican Town Committee Chairman Daniel Nakamoto pens a letter to the editor of Winchester Patch.

To the Editor:
Representative Day Needs to Be Honest About Being Part-Time Legislator
State Representative Michael Day does not own up to his record of being a part-time legislator. According to his financial disclosure forms he is a partner in the law firm Torres, Scammon and Day. If he is a partner in a law firm, can he be a full time legislator? It is obvious to the constituents of this district he is a part-time legislator. He rarely holds office hours. What has Representative Day done regarding the major Chapter 40B issue in Winchester?

I believe that Carolyn Colarusso would bring a total commitment to the role of State Representative. As a full time legislator, fully supported by Governor Baker, she will be able to do more for our communities than our incumbent legislator. Winchester and Stoneham deserve a full time Representative who will be there for us, our seniors, our veterans and our children.
