Massage Therapist Accused of Inappropriately Touching Winchester Wellness Center Clients
Authorities believe there may be additional victims in the case.

WINCHESTER, MA — A licensed massage therapist who worked at the Winchester Wellness Center has been accused of inappropriately touching three Winchester Wellness Center clients, according to an announcement from the Middlesex County District Attorney's Office and Winchester Police Chief Peter MacDonnell.
Alexander Osher, 48, of Lynn was arraigned on three counts of indecent assault and battery of a person over the age of 14 Thursday. Judge Dennis Curran set bail at $1,000 cash, ordered Osher to surrender his passport, wear a GPS monitoring bracelet, not work as a licensed massage therapist, and stay away from the Winchester Wellness Center among other orders.
“Three women have come forward with allegations of sexual assault perpetrated by the defendant,” said District Attorney Marian Ryan in a statement. “Based on the similar statements given by the women who reported the defendant’s alleged actions, we have cause to be concerned that there may be additional victims out there. We encourage anyone who feels they may have also been a victim of an indecent sexual assault to not hesitate to contact the Winchester Police Department.”

The Middlesex District Attorney's office alleges that from Dec. 15, 2016 to Jan. 16, 2017, Winchester police received complaints saying they had been inappropriately touched during their massages. Following an investigation, Osher was arrested on Jan. 18.
The next hearing is scheduled for Feb. 13. Authorities believe there may be additional victims in the case.

"We believe that there are more victims out there, and it is our hope that the bravery of the three victims who came to the police will empower others to do the same," said MacDonnell in a statement.
