Obituary: Michael Wilcox, 47, of Winchester

Michael Paul Wilcox of Winchester, formerly of Everett, died suddenly on February 17 at age 47. Beloved son of David and Terry (Scarpellini) Wilcox of Everett.

Devoted father of Sophie and Peter Wilcox of Winchester and loving brother of David Wilcox and his wife Patricia of Everett. Michael is also survived by his former wife Krista Wilcox of Winchester and many dear aunts, uncles, nephews, nieces, cousins and friends.

Michael’s biggest joy in life was his children and spending time with family and friends. His presence lit up rooms with a beautiful smile, infectious laugh and genuine eagerness to be with you. He will be dearly missed by everyone who knew and loved him.

Funeral from the Salvatore Rocco & Sons Funeral Home, 331 Main St., in Everett, on Monday, Feb. 23 at 9 a.m.

Funeral Mass at the Immaculate Conception Church in Everett at 10 a.m. Relatives and friends are kindly invited. Visiting hours are Sunday only 2-6 p.m. Complimentary valet parking Sunday at Main St. entrance.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the “Michael P. Wilcox Children’s Fund” c/o the Wilcox Family, 69 Adams Ave., Everett 02149. Interment at Woodlawn Cemetery in Everett.
