Police Log: Backpack Taken from Winchester Hospital

Saturday, Nov. 19, 7 p.m. – A Woburn woman reportedly took a backpack that had school books and a finance calculator in it from a valet parking attendant at .
The attendant, of Lynn, had left his backpack, valued at $300 with its belongings, in the entrance to the emergency room when the woman picked it up and walked out the door with it, security cameras reportedly showed.
When contacted by police, the woman said she brought it home accidentally. Police retrieved the backpack from her residence and returned it to the man.
