After getting blood work done, the patient wandered into the employee-only area. He walked to the back of the room, sat down at a desk, which was concealed from the rest of the room and it also happened to be the victim's. She had left her pocketbook on top of the desk.

Two other employees who saw the man walk in said he looked suspicious and asked if he needed anything. He said he was dizzy from getting his blood drawn and needed to sit down.
