Police Log: Mail Stolen and Drugs Found

Wednesday, Sept. 21, 3:21 p.m. – The warehouse manager informed police that two palettes that contained metal plates for safety railings for roofs was stolen.

Thursday, Sept. 22, 7:25 a.m. – A George Road resident had the rear window of his Ford Explorer broken. Nothing was stolen.

1:36 p.m. – On Wednesday, a Fletcher Street resident had FedEx deliver a North Face backpack. However, when the resident went to retrieve her package, it was missing. The resident said she observed a woman in a green jeep stop in front of her home, walk to her porch and then leave.

4:02 p.m. – A Washington Street resident had their Wethepeople BMX bike ($489) stolen off their front porch.

8:58 p.m. – The Winchester Police conducted a well-being check at a Swanton Street home. Upon arrival, they found the resident in his bed with a couple bags of cocaine surrounding him. The man was taken to Winchester Hospital.

Friday, Sept. 23, 11:26 a.m. – A Cross Street resident said someone had illegally used his Winchester Savings Bank debit card. Among the charges were $1,000 for Ralph Lauren.

Saturday, Sept. 24m 10:21 a.m. – While driving along Main Street, a Westford resident said a rock hit her windshield, causing her to veer off the road and hit a rock wall owned by  a Winchester resident.

Sunday, Sept. 25, 12:41 p.m. – A Euclid Avenue resident told police that some time Saturday night, someone broke the rear window of his Honda Accord. Nothing was stolen.

8:06 p.m. – Winchester Police were called to Horn Pond Brook Road for a domestic dispute.
