Police Log: Tractor Trailer Damages Cable Wires

The following information was supplied by the Winchester Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

Monday, Dec. 5, 11:50 a.m. – A Woburn man was pulled over and cited while driving along Cambridge Street near Oneida Road for having an expired inspection sticker and for having his license revoked.

Tuesday, Dec. 6, 9:48 a.m. – A Ridge Street resident told police that she observed a green tractor trailer hit the cable wires hanging over the street and knocking them loose.

The woman was unable to get a license plate of the truck. Comcast was called to come repair the wires.

11:54 a.m. – While backing into a parking space in front of the Citgo station on Main Street, a truck driver struck a black lamp post damaging it.
