Police Log: Two Women Charged with Falsifying Police Reports
The following information was supplied by the Winchester Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

Monday, July 11, 4:39 p.m. – A Middlesex Street resident had his home broken into sometime between June 30 and July 1. No one was in the home, and the rear sliding door was left unlocked. The burglar stole an IPod and some cameras that were on the table.
11:08 a.m. – A fire hydrant along Arlington Street was struck by a vehicle in a hit-and-run. The hydrant needs to be replaced.
Tuesday, July 12, 2:49 p.m. – Someone spray painted in blue paint profanities in the middle of Canal Street.

Friday, June 17, 11:55 a.m. - Laura Quinn, 22, of 24 Clocktower Drive, Waltham and Kathleen Malo, 20 of 13 Myrtle Street, Woburn were charged with falsifying police reports.
The two women told police that Since that day, witnesses came forward and informed Winchester Police that Quinn and Malo lied about what happened.

The two men - Corey Macinnes, 22, 47 Holland St., Winchester and Eric Austin, 20, 229 Pond St. - who had been arrested for assault and battery had their charges dropped.
