Police Log: Woman Complains about a Haircut, Multiple Arrests and Annoying Phone Calls Wrap up the Weekend
This is an excerpt from the Winchester Police Log from Saturday, October 2 to Monday, October 4.

Saturday, Oct. 2, 12:45 a.m. – Police were called to Holland Street for a report of annoying phone calls. The resident called police because his friend's wife kept calling him looking for her husband. The husband was staying with his buddy at Holland Street because him and his wife were having marital problems.
The husband said she called him about 50 times and he stopped answering her calls. Once he did that his wife started calling his friend.
The police contacted the woman who admitted she had called both men, but said she was trying to see when her husband was picking up the children. The officer suggested neither party try and contact each other for a little while.

3 a.m. – Winchester Police went to Holland Street as they were responding to a noise complaint. The officer believed both parties were intoxicated, but they informed them that it was just an argument they had gotten in as they stood next to their car. They told the officer that they were planning on getting a ride home.
Later that night the office saw that same car speeding down Washington Street. When he pulled over the car Alycia McCluskey was taken out of the car. She told the officer that she was not completely truthful with him earlier in the night.

She said that she had a fight with her friend. She tried to console her friend who was upset because her boyfriend left her. This only enraged her friend and she hit and punched her.
The police took McCluskey out of the car and she informed the officer that she had about four beers, a shot and had smoked weed. She said she was only driving the car because her friend said that if she left it where it was her friend would vandalize it.
McCluskey failed the sobriety test and the officer arrested her. It was also discovered that her license was suspended. She was charged with operating on a public way under the influence and operating on a public way after a license suspension.
11:50 a.m. – Police responded to Thompson Street where a customer was complaining about a haircut. When the officer arrived at the salon, the owner pointed to the woman who began to yell and curse at one of the stylists because they didn't like how her hair was being cut.
The officer brought the woman outside and asked her why she was being difficult. The woman said that she didn't like how her sister's hair was being cut and was just being honest. The officer told the woman that it's not her haircut and that she cannot make a scene like that.
Her sister then spoke to the officer and apologized. She said that her sister has emotional and mental disorders.
Sunday, Oct. 3, 5:34 a.m. – Police were called to Swanton Street where there as an argument on the street between two people. The woman kept yelling profanities at the man about how she wanted to walk home alone. The officer smelt alcohol on her breath.
When he asked to calm down and lower her voice she continued to yell at the man. She refused to talk to the officer or lower her voice. The officer then arrested the woman, later identified as Elizabeth Doherty, for disturbing the police. She then cursed at the officer and said she didn't care. When the officer tried to escort Doherty across the street to the cruiser her body stiffened up and she removed to walk.
Another officer helped get her in the car. She continued to scream and curse at both officers throughout the whole booking process.
5:22 p.m. – The Winchester Police were called to Palmer Street because of a simple assault. One of the residents opened a storage box for the possible arrival of a telephone repairman. Later another resident closed the box because she was concerned that someone would be able to listen to her phone calls or tap into her account and dial long distance.
The woman who had opened the box originally went down and confronted the other resident and pushed her, the other woman then reached out and scratched the other resident. The officer suggested that both parties stay a way from each other for a while.
