REMINDER: High Dose Flu Clinic for Elderly Residents is Tuesday
Tuesday's clinic for elderly Winchester residents is the first flu clinic sponsored by the Health Department. Here is what you need to know.

The Winchester Health Department, in cooperation with the Jenks Center, will be sponsoring four flu clinics this fall. All will be held in the Pond Room at the Jenks Senior Center.
High Dose Flu Clinic for people 65 years and older:
Tuesday, October 11th from 9:30AM to 11:30AM. We have 500 doses of High Dose flu vaccine. Remaining doses will be offered at the subsequent clinics.

Three seasonal flu clinics will be held:
- October 18 from 9:30am to 11:00am - Age 3 & older
- October 24 from 2:00pm to 4:00pm - Age 3 & older
- November 14 from 6:00pm to 8:00pm - Age 6 months and older.
Please bring ALL of your insurance card(s) with you.
The following health insurances are ACCEPTED:

- Blue Cross/Blue Shield of Massachusetts and New Jersey (no other states)
- Celticare
- Cigna
- Fallon
- Harvard Pilgrim
- Health New England
- MassHealth
- Medicare Part B
- Neighborhood Health
- Network Health
- Tufts Health Plan (now pays for High Dose)
- Unicare
Insurances NOT ACCEPTED (if your primary insurance):
- Aetna
- Humana
- United Health (including United Health combination cards such as United/Harvard Pilgrim)
There is a fee for vaccines not covered by insurance: $15 for Seasonal flu shot and $38 for a High Dose flu shot.
The Board of Health is now participating in the Massachusetts Immunization Information
System (MIIS), a new state mandated electronic immunization registry. For further information, you may visit the MIIS website @ www.mass.gov/dph/miis.
