Representative Day's New Hire A Sure Hit
Former Winchester High baseball captain Ryan McGeown-Conron is new legislative aid.

Ryan McGeown-Conron learned to hit a curveball at Winchester High School. Now stepping into politics, the ability to handle a curve will serve him well.
Representative Michael S. Day recently announced the hiring of the former Winchester baseball captain to the position of Legislative Aide. In this role, McGeown-Conron will handle constituent relations, legislative analysis and research and media requests for Representative Day.
McGeown-Conron is a recent graduate of Union College in Schenectady, NY, where he earned a major in Economics and minors in Political Science and History. The new aide graduated from Winchester High School in 2013, where he captained the varsity baseball team. He also was active with the “A Better Chance” program in Winchester and mentoring in local youth baseball programs.

Representative Day’s previous Legislative Aide, Patricia Leslie-Brown, recently accepted a position with iCivics, a non-profit organization that promotes civics education and encourage students to become more active citizens.
