Sean Kiley Resigns as Principal of Winchester High School

Superintendent Judith Evans announced the news on Wednesday.

Sean Kiley has resigned as principal of Winchester High School, according to Superintendent Judith Evans. The reasoning behind Kiley’s sudden decision was not made known.

Kiley gave his notice of resignation on Wednesday. The announcement was made in an email, which was sent out to all high school families in Winchester.

Evan’s wrote in the email, “Sean Kiley, who has served for the past year as principal of Winchester High School, has given notice of his resignation from this position. We are working to ensure a smooth transition of leadership and will provide more specifics on the interim administrative team as soon as possible. In the meantime, parents with school concerns should please contact Assistant Principal Gerald Chapman. We thank Mr. Kiley for his service to our students and families and wish him well in future endeavors.”

Kiley, who previously served as principal of Exeter High School in New Hampshire, made the move to Winchester in July of 2014.
