Upcoming Pilates, Yoga, and Nutrition Workshops

Join Wright-Locke Farm for one of its health-oriented programs this month

The spring season is the perfect time of year to utilize Wright-Locke Farm's 1827 Barn for a variety of programs and events, including those related to low-impact fitness. The farm's Monday Evening Pilates and Tuesday Evening Yoga Sessions with local instructors Jennifer Ogonowsky and Brittney Burgess are suitable for all levels of experience and focus on improving strength, flexibility, toning, and endurance. Set to the backdrop of the farm fields, these experienced instructors will guide students as they achieve a balance of power and flexibility through the dynamic combination of breath and movement. Spring pilates sessions are hosted Mondays, June 5 and 19 and spring yoga sessions are hosted Tuesdays, June 6 and 20, both from 6:30 - 7:30pm- with one early morning spring yoga session on Friday 6/16 from 6 - 7am. These classes can fill up fast, so please be sure to register via the farm's website to guarantee your spot.

For those interested in nutrition, Wright-Locke has a great workshop hosted next week. Join the farm for its Healthy Fats: Foods for Vitality and Well-Being with Nutritional Therapist Allison Lekstrom on Wednesday, June 14 from 7 - 8:30pm. This informative workshop will discuss the multifaceted role of dietary fat in human health, the best types and sources of fats to consume, and how eating high-quality fats can actually aid weight loss.
