Upcoming Youth and Adult Programs at Wright-Locke Farm
Spots still available in select after school programs and educational workshops
Wright-Locke Farm (Winchester, MA) is excited to kick off its Spring After School Programs next week, starting May 1st. Though some programs are already sold out, the farm still has a few spots available in its Monday and Wednesday After School Programs for kids in grades K - 2. These six week programs meet once a week and will include a focus on food production as it relates to soil, water, weather, geography and climate, land conservation, and biodiversity. In addition to the featured lesson and activity of the week, each session will include preparing a season-inspired recipe to try and visiting the farm animals.
No longer a kid but still have the hunger to learn on the farm? Consider signing up for one of Wright-Locke's educational workshops for teens and adults this spring. These programs teach practical skills related to healthy living, small-scale "backyard" agriculture, and the wonders of nature. Individuals ages 14 and up may attend unless stated otherwise; some programs are open to kids ages 8 and up when attending with an adult.
Upcoming programs include (please visit the farm's website for more detailed information or to sign up):
