This year, the Multicultural Network marks the YWCA's "Take a Stand Against Racism" with a discussion of two books: Waking Up White by Debby Irving and The Education of a White Parent by Susan Naimark. Debby Irving grew up in Winchester. In fact, the opening paragraph of her new book takes place in the library. She and Susan Naimark will share reflections on their journeys around racial awareness.
