When Does School Start in Winchester?
Here's a look at some important dates on the Winchester Public Schools calendar, and some other helpful back-to-school tips for parents.

WINCHESTER, MA — Parents, you've almost survived the summer. All Winchester students will be back in class on Sept. 6.

Grades 1-5 will be released early on Sept. 6. Grades 6 and 9 will attend classes from 7:45 a.m. to 10:40 a.m. Grades 7-8 and 10-12 will attend class from 11:30 a.m-2:15 a.m. Grades 1-5 will be released early on Sept. 7. Grades 6-12 will attend class from 7:45 a.m. to 2:15 p.m.
Tell the kids not to complain - many schools across the country start before the end of August, and some even in July, according to CNN. And parents, no complaining from you either - some schools don't welcome back students until well into September.
