Who in Winchester Gave Presidential Cash?

See who's donating to presidential campaigns in town.

WINCHESTER, MA — With the election just a few days away, much of the campaigning has already been done. If dollar signs equaled votes, Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton will have won Winchester in a landslide.

According to the Federal Election Commission, the former Secretary of State has received $220,498 from Winchester residents. She is followed by Republican nominee Donald Trump receiving $18,844 and Libertarian candidate Gary Johnson receiving $1,810. Green Party candidate Jill Stein did not receive any individual campaign contributions from residents.

However, New York Businessman Donald Trump topped his Democratic adversary in terms of average donations. Trump received just 55 donations from residents, but had an average donation of $342.62. Clinton received an average of $213.25, but received 1,035 donations. Johnson's donation average was $301.67, but only received six separate donations.

Clinton's lead in Winchester reflects to her lead in the historically Democratic Commonwealth of Massachusetts. The FEC indicates that Clinton has raised $18,727,470 in Massachusetts; compared to Trump's $1,350,076, Johnson's $150,199 and Stein's $39,177.
