Winchester 2016 Election Day Coverage: Preliminary Results are In
The preliminary election results for Winchester are in.

WINCHESTER, MA – The election results are in, and Winchester voters have favored Democratic candidate Hillary Clinton over Republican Donald Trump in the 2016 presidential election.
According to the preliminary results from the town clerk’s office, Clinton won 7,766 votes, compared to Trump’s 3,364 votes.
In local races, incumbent state Rep. Michael Day appears to have taken a significant victory in Winchester in the 31st Middlesex district Rep. race over challenger Caroline Colarusso by a vote of 7,195 to 4,659. Sen. Jason Lewis also defeated Vincent Dixon in the 5th district Senatorial race.

These numbers are set to be adjusted upwards after the auxiliary ballots are counted, according to Town Clerk MaryEllen Lannon. Below are the preliminary election results
