Winchester Chamber Of Commerce Urges Support Of Local Businesses
Please support our local retailers and service businesses during trying times.

The Winchester Chamber of Commerce, a non-profit organization with a volunteer board of directors and several hundred members that includes businesses, community members, entrepreneurs, nonprofit groups, home-based companies and individuals, serves to promote and serve member businesses, through our many programs and initiatives.
With the current Covid-19 precautions and restrictions, Winchester’s local stores, restaurants and companies have encountered a record decline, and sometimes total interruption, of retail and professional business.

The Winchester Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors has recently been brainstorming for ways to assist our local shop-owners and businesses on how to keep their businesses open, how to keep their merchandise and services available, and how to better serve as a resource for those seeking help in filing for Small Business Association and Payroll Protection Loans. Coupled with our communication and collaboration with local and state legislators, banks and business entities, we will provide a platform of information to better serve our membership and the business community.
To do this, the Chamber is currently undertaking publicity efforts to increase on-line and curbside shopping with eligible storefront and member merchants, increasing business visibility on our website at www.winchesterchamber.com and other publicity outlets, soliciting financial donors to support these attempts at assistance to keep Winchester Center vibrant and open for business, and helping small businesses navigate their way through forms and applications for potential federal assistance grants and loans. We have compiled a wealth of information and resources for these purposes.
