Winchester Farmer's Market Opens Saturday

Ignore today's weather. By Saturday it's going to be great and that means the perfect day for the 2018 opening of the Winchester Farmer's Market.

The farmers market opens for the season Saturday and will continue every Saturday through the end of October. It’s time: for meeting friends on the town common on a Saturday morning. For riding a bicycle into town on the weekend. For doing something with the kids. For relaxing in a shady spot to enjoy live music by local artists. For socializing your puppy in a friendly atmosphere. For snacking on farm-fresh fruit.

Booths include produce, dairy, and meats from eastern Mass., prepared foods, beverages, kitchen staples, sweets, and Wright-Locke Farm’s organic vegetables and flowers. Local musicians perform each market day and Winchester artists bring hand-created wares. Chamber of Commerce members and local organizations have booths, introducing area businesses and causes. Find delicious food produced right here in eastern Mass., do something together as a family, enjoy the creativity of Winchester artists, get downtown on a Saturday morning: It all happens at the farmers market.
