Winchester Granted Additional $265K Transportation Funding
The additional funding will create jobs, improve public safety and jumpstart economic growth.

The Town of Winchester is expected to receive an additional $265,180 in transportation aid funding.
Winchester’s Chapter 90 local transportation aid funding was increased from $530,359 to $795,539 for the 2015 fiscal year, Gov. Charles D. Baker reports.
Last year, the Legislature approved the funding of an additional $100 million to towns across the state through the Chapter 90 local transportation aid funding. The funding increased from $200 million to $300 million, according to a press release.
