Winchester Hospital Surgeon Voluntarily Surrenders Surgical License: Report

WINCHESTER, MA—Dr. James DeVellis, an orthopedic surgeon who works out of Excel Orthopedic Specialists in Woburn, has voluntarily agreed to stop practicing medicine in Massachusetts amid allegations of misconduct, according to a report by Fox 25.

According to the Fox 25 report, DeVellis has also voluntarily given up his surgical rights at Winchester Hospital. The report also clarified that DeVellis is facing no criminal charges.
