Winchester Lacrosse Gets Tournament Schedule

The MIAA announced the boys and girls lacrosse tournament pairings Friday and it will be a busy week ahead for the Sachems.

The girls finished 14-4 and earned the No. 9 seed in Division 1 North. They'll travel to face No. 8 seed Andover on Monday at 6 p.m. Andover finished the regular season 13-7. Unlike most MIAA sports, the lacrosse tournament uses power seedings rather than straight w-l percentage.

If Winchester gets by Andover, it will face the winner of Monday's Chelmsford vs Lowell game.

The complete Division 1 North field:

As for the boys, the Sachems earned the No. 3 seed with a 14-3 record. They get a first round bye and will face the winner of North Reading vs. Danvers in Friday's quarterfinal round.
