Winchester Man Killed by Bulldozer in Phillipston

The man was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident.

PHILLIPSTON, MA—A Winchester man was killed after a bulldozer backed over him while working at a Phillipston town park on Wednesday.

Paul Troisi, 60, was working for Woburn-based Tro-Con Corp., which was hired to build a park behind the Phillipston Police Station.

According to spokesman Tim Connolly of the Worcester County District Attorney's Office, Troisi was pronounced dead at the scene.

Connolly told Patch that the situation is believe to be a workplace accident. However, the case remains under investigation by state police assigned to the Worcester County District Attorney's office.

According to an obituary from Costello Funeral Home, A funeral mass for Troisi will be held at St. Mary's Church Tuesday.
