Winchester Middle School Student Struck by Vehicle While Walking to School: Report
A sixth grader at McCall Middle School was reportedly struck by a red pickup truck on Church Street Wednesday.

WINCHESTER, MA — A McCall Middle School student suffered minor injuries after being struck by a pickup truck while walking to school Wednesday, reports the Winchester Star.
The operator of a red Chevy pickup truck heading south on Church Street struck the child in what Winchester Police Sgt. Tom Groux told the Star was a low speed incident. The sixth grader was knocked to the ground and suffered minor injuries.
The Star further reports that the driver allegedly got out of the vehicle and spoke with the child, who then told the driver he was not hurt. The driver then left the area, and it was unclear if any laws were violated.
