Governor-elect Charlie Baker has selected a Winchester resident to serve on his better government transition team.

A Winchester man has been named to Gov.-elect Charlie Baker’s better government transition team.

On Thursday, Baker, of Swampscott, named dozens of members to his transition team, with specific teams focusing on jobs, schools, communities, health and better government,

John Miller of Winchester, the Former Candidate for Attorney General, has been named to the better government team. Miller has over thirty years worth of international and domestic legal experience in the private sector and has worked on practical solutions to complex legal and legislative issues, according to Miller’s Profile on MillerForAG.com.

He has taught project packaging and contracting strategy at Massachusetts Institute of Technology and is the author of multiple books on the topics of U.S. public infrastructure contracting and the government’s role in promoting economic development, Miller’s profile reported.

Miller is also a Fellow of the American Bar Foundation, the American College of Construction Lawyers and the ABA’s Section of Public Contract Law, according to his profile.
