Winchester Soccer Player Earns All-American Honors

The Winchester High School alum was named third team All-American by the National Soccer Coaches Association of America.

A Winchester soccer player was honored by the National Soccer Coaches Association of America for the 2014 season.

Ben Bratt, a senior at Wesleayn University, was named a Division III third team All-American.

Bratt plays defense for the men’s soccer team at Wesleayn and also serves as the team captain.

For the 2014 season, Bratt earned the title first-team all-New England and also earned first-team all-NESCAC for the second year in a row, according to a Wesleayn athletics article.

He led his team to an overall record of 8-5-3 and a conference record of 6-4.

Bratt played in 62 games and started in 61 of them during his four years as a Cardinal, according to Wesleayn athletics.
