WINCHESTER, MA - Public school teachers in Winchester were paid below the state average in 2015, according to the Boston Business Journal .Earlier this month, the <a href="http://www.bizjournals.com/boston/blog/bottom_line/2016/05/the-towns-and-cities-with-the-best-paid-teachers.html" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">Boston Business Journal</a> released a full list of average annual salaries of public educators in each community, based on data from the Department of Early and Secondary Education.According to the Boston Business Journal study, the average salary of public school teachers in Winchester last year was $74,033, more than $500 shy of the state average of $74,737.The district was 141st out of the 317 school districts that reported data to the state.
