Why Go: Not only do you get to support the Sachem Youth Baseball and Softball program, but you will be treated to dinner, a cash bar and the comedic stylings of Tony V.

Where/When:, Friday, Feb. 11, 8 p.m. to 11 p.m.

Why Go: It’s Valentine’s Day and there’s a sweetheart dance. Plus, the Fred Manzi Trio will be playing some swing music, and there will be some Valentine candy. But for those who need more than chocolate to get on the dance floor, there will be wine and beer available as well.

Pricing: $15.

Where/When: , Saturday, Feb. 12, 7:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.

Why Go: Sally Pinkas and her husband Evan Hirsch have been performing two-piano recitals for nearly 20 years. The music ranges from classics such as Mozart to more modern day pieces.

Pricing: $15 suggest donation.

Why Go: Because dances are awesome. And what better way to bond with your daughter than to treat her to a night out on the town, while getting her all dressed up for a dance?

Where/When: , Feb. 12 to Feb. 27 

Why Go: It’s cold, there’s been a lot of snow, this is a good chance to remind yourself that spring’s right around the corner. And with the growing popularity of orchids, you can see if an orchid is right for your house.
