Winchester Woman Gives Birth to Local Hospital's 13,000th Child: Report

WINCHESTER, MA — A Winchester resident recently gave birth to the 13,000th baby ever delivered at Mount Auburn Hospital in Cambridge.

According to a report by the Winchester Star, Yvonne Cao of Winchester recently gave birth to her son Yuma, marking the milestone at the hospital. Mount Auburn was founded in 1886 as the first hospital in Cambridge.

Yuma's birth also came just before National Midwifery Week, which ran from Oct. 2 to Oct. 8.
