Winchester's East Side Water System to be Flushed
Flushing will occur for approximately one week.

Beginning Monday, May 16, 2016 water main flushing of the Town’s East side water system will take place during the day from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. for approximately one week.
The east-side system consists of all streets east of Washington Street and Main Street to the Medford line.

Although not harmful, during flushing, residents should refrain from using water for drinking, dishwashing, and laundry as some discoloration of water may occur. If you experience discolored water, let the cold water run until it clears. If the problem continues, please call the Water and Sewer Department at 781-721-7109.
