Alleged Oxycodone Trafficker Found Guilty
Boston's Steven Marcelin was arrested in Woburn while picking up more than 100 grams of the prescription opiate, say police.

A Boston man arrested in 2011 and charged with trafficking at least $30,000 worth of oxycodone pills was found guilty on Thursday, March 5, according to statement from the Middlesex District Attorney’s Office.
The 27-year-old Steven Marcelin was originally nabbed in Woburn.
Authorities say they were tipped off in October of 2011 by members of the U.S. Postal Service who had become wary of packages being repeatedly shipped from Las Vegas to a house on Prospect Street.

Police kept watch the next time a package arrived at the address. Marcelin showed up to collect the parcel, and sure enough, it was found to contain nearly 106 grams of oxycodone, according to police.
“We appreciate the tips about suspicious activity, such as that received in this case,” said District Attorney Marian Ryan in a statement. “Very often, if someone sees something happening, and has a feeling that things just don’t sit right, their feelings can be accurate.”
