Chelsea pallet company eyes move to Woburn industrial park (homenewshere.com) β A 126-year-old pallet manufacturer plans to move its headquarters into North Woburn's industrial park, taking over the former Joseph's Industrial Catering site on Torrice Drive. City councilors continued the hearing to October 20 while Ward 6 Councilor Lou DiMambro negotiates special permit conditions covering floodplain use, truck storage, and parking for the long-established, employee-owned business.

Hillary Levine and David Finstein go from USY to under the chuppah (jewishjournal.org) β A local couple celebrated their June 7 wedding at the Crowne Plaza Boston in Woburn, filling the ballroom with more than 200 guests, a large wedding party, and even their dog in a flower crown. With retired rabbis co-officiating, elaborate kosher catering, and a lively band, the event blended deep family roots, Jewish tradition, and plenty of dancing, highlighting Woburn as a hub for big community celebrations.

Wilmington, Tewksbury dump Flock cameras (homenewshere.com) β While Tewksbury and Wilmington are ending their contracts with Flock Safety's license plate cameras over privacy concerns, Woburn is keeping its 12 devices in place for now. City Solicitor Mark Salvati says officials regularly review the system and have fielded only limited resident inquiries, as nearby communities either drop the technology or avoid adopting it altogether.
