ndover Choral Society Invites Singers to "Come Sing with Us"
ANDOVER, MA –&nbsp;<a target="_blank" href="https://www.andoverchoralsociety.org/" rel="nofollow noopener">Andover Choral Society</a>&nbsp;-&nbsp;Do you love to sing? Have you sung in a choir before—or always wanted to try? Andover Choral Society invites singers throughout the Merrimack Valley and surrounding communities to “Come Sing with Us” as it begins its 2026–27 season under the leadership of new Music Director Dr. Charles Tyler Turner. Andover Choral Society will hold open rehearsals for prospective singers&nbsp;on Monday, September 28th and Monday, October 5th from 7:20 to 9:30 p.m. at Christ Church, 33 Central Street, Andover, MA. All voice parts are welcome. While there is no audition to join, singers should be able to match pitch and follow music, and regular attendance and committed participation are expected. The season will culminate in a concert on February 7, 2027, featuring Gabriel&nbsp;Fauré’s beloved Requiem along with additional works.&nbsp; 
About Andover Choral Society
Andover Choral Society is a volunteer community chorus that brings together singers of different ages, professions, backgrounds, and levels of musical experience. The group is dedicated to presenting exceptional performances, connecting to the larger community, and fostering an appreciation of choral music. They perform&nbsp;two concerts per year, singing a repertoire that focuses on fine choral and choral-orchestral works from the Baroque era to the present day.&nbsp;In addition to the annual concerts, the chorus performs at area assisted living facilities during the holiday season and at other community events. 
Founded in 1929, Andover Choral Society is looking ahead to celebrating its 100th Anniversary under the leadership of new Music Director Dr. Charles Tyler Turner.&nbsp; Dr. Turner brings extensive experience as a choral and orchestral conductor, music educator, and nonprofit leader to his new role with Andover Choral Society. He is enthusiastic about welcoming new singers to the organization and issued an invitation to prospective members. "There is something special about coming together to learn and perform great music. Children will receive a full 45 minute ice skating lesson taught by a registered US Figure Skating and Skate safe Instructor. 
Come learn the joy of skating. All lessons will be taught with interactive play and games to keep it fun and challenging for all levels. Skaters should wear warm loose fitting clothing, gloves, helmet, and single blade skates.
