He is also survived by grandchildren Joseph P. Mahoney III, Christina Roy, Jeannie, Katherine and Anne-Marie Holland, Hunter and Brooke Lundin, Kiley and Justin Lombardi and Gianna Zammito; great-grandchildren Ernie, Audrey, and Deedra Roy and Lauren Mahoney; and many loving nieces and nephews.
He was the husband of the late Anne-Marie (Clancy) Mahoney; father of the late Joseph P. Jr. and Jeannie Mahoney; and brother of the late Charles, Edward and John Mahoney.
Funeral services will be held from the Lynch-Cantillon Funeral Home, 263 Main St., Woburn on Friday, August 5, at 9:15 a.m., followed by a Funeral Mass in St. Charles Church, 280 Main St., Woburn at 10 a.m. Calling hours will be held on Thursday from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Interment will be in Calvary Cemetery, Woburn.
