Ann Marie (Treacy) Silverstein, 58, Formerly of Woburn
Silverstein grew up in Woburn and attended Woburn Memorial High School.

WOBURN, MA—Ann Marie (Treacy) Silverstein, wife of Steven H. Silverstein of Ipswich and White Horse Beach, passed away on Saturday, May 14, surrounded by her family.
Born June 1, 1957 to Robert E. and Ann T. (McHugh) Treacy of Honolulu, Hawaii, Ann Marie grew up in Woburn and graduated from Woburn High School with the Class of 1975. She was a head cheerleader for Woburn High School football, basketball and hockey teams and a member of the National Honor Society. She then attended and graduated from Katharine Gibbs School and became a docket clerk in the U.S. Federal Court System for Hon. Judge Arthur W. Garrity.
Ann Marie and Steven started a family and she devoted herself to raising their four children, Treacy A. Silbaugh and her husband Owen K. Silbaugh, Jr. of Wakefield, Stephanie S. Silverstein of Honolulu, Hawaii, Heather M. Silverstein of Ipswich and Brian K. Silverstein of Ipswich. Ann Marie enjoyed volunteering in her children’s activities and at the Paul F. Doyon Elementary School in Ipswich. Ann Marie was a giving person, finding joy in putting the happiness and needs of others before her own.

Ann Marie was the caring sister of Robert E. Treacy Jr. and his wife Barbara of Peabody, John V. Treacy and his wife Adrienne of Washington, and Janet M. Macdonald and her husband Kevin of Woburn. She was the proud grandmother, "Nanny Annie," of Owen K. Silbaugh III. Aunt of Erin Solovey, her husband Ed, Rebecca Romani, her husband Michael, and Denise Treacy. Grandaunt of Jaclyn, Kailah, Sophia and Hudson. Ann Marie enjoyed spending summers at White Horse Beach with her immediate and extended family since she was a child, and she carried on the tradition with her children and grandchild.
A Funeral will be held from the Lynch-Cantillon Funeral Home, 263 Main St., Woburn on Friday, May 20 at 9:45 a.m. followed by a Funeral Mass in St. Barbara's Church, 138 Cambridge Rd., Woburn, at 11 a.m. Relatives and friends are cordially invited to calling hours, Thursday, May 19, from 4-8 p.m. Remembrances may be made in Ann Marie’s memory to the Massachusetts General Hospital Discretionary Fund, 55 Fruit Street, Boston, MA 02114.
