My name is Avon and curiosity is my game. Yes, I am an inquisitive sort. I love to sit by the window and watch the birds. There is a nice rhododendron bush outside the dining room window and sometimes I get so excited I forget I am on the sill and fall off. But don't worry, I get right back on and do it all over again. It's all part of the fun!
I am also fascinated by the three-year-old human that I live with. I can sit and watch him forever. I know how to play gently. I also know how to get out of his way when he gets too rambunctious! But mostly, I just want to sit near him and watch.

True to my curious side, I am known to steal a toy or sock or something. When I find a toy that I like, I dash through the house with it while my “peeps” chase after me. They accuse me of being mischievous, but really, I am only trying to help them get exercise. I know they like this, so I do it often.
Those are a few fun things about me. Now I’d like to get to know you. Are you nice? Do you have room for a beautiful, raven-haired girl who likes to talk and does not mind children? Do you do funny things I might enjoy, like watching that big box they call TV or dangling strings or other toys? I really like those family activities.

I also enjoy the company of other cats. I had a feline friend for a while, but he died of old age. I really would not mind joining a household with another kitty who could be my friend. I am just a nice, easygoing girl and once I get to know you I know we will bond.
As much as I will miss my first family, I believe there is more love and fun in my future and I am ready for my next chapter. Do you think I might fit into your long-range plans? If so, I can’t wait to meet you and find out if we are a match. You might even say… I am curious about you. So let’s get together start our conversation. I wonder where it might lead us.
