Very much a homebody, when she retired she, Al and friends from childhood took to road and journeyed across the country. They explored every nook, cranny, mountain, lake and trail possible and had a wonderful time together doing it!
As life moved along and her daughters had begun families of their own Cecilia was so happy to be a “Nana.” So excited, that she and Al decided to move to Derry, NH as there, they would be much closer to all the girls and their families!
“Nana” took every opportunity she could to enjoy time with her grandchildren, often spending days at a time together sharing in one activity after the another. Nana was always actively participating in all their events both sporting and academic, also sharing a very special relationship with each one individually.
Cecelia had a wonderful way about her that was very special. Her gregarious personality would often put her at the center of attention, always in such a funny way! Cecilia was also a woman of strong convictions and was never really afraid to express herself or an opinion she may have! A woman of great faith, she had also travelled to Medjugorje with friends and felt that her journey was very faith fulfilling and inspirational.
In addition to her parents, Cecelia was predeceased by her beloved husband Al and sisters Mary McGondel and Ruth Leonard.
She is lovingly survived by her children Karen A. Moulton, her husband Kevin of Tyngsboro, Cheryl Fitzgerald and Kim E. Richard, her husband Mark all of NH. Dear sister of Frank Bernard of Woburn, Jack Bernard of Billerica, Barbara Hamilton of Woburn. Loving "Nana" of Elizabeth, Emily, Margaret and Graham Fitzgerald and Seth, Lucas and Cameron Richard and great nana of Mactar.
