Center Street Woman Arrested on Cocaine Charges

A Woburn woman was charged with possessing cocaine with the intent to distribute on Friday afternoon.

Police arrested Dawn Marie Metrano, 49, 32 Center St., Woburn, and charged her with possessing a Class B drug with the intent to distribute and possessing a Class B drug. Police

The Woburn Police VIce/Narcotics Unit and Southern Middlesex Regional Drug Task Force were conducted an narcotics investigation involving Metrano selling cocaine from her Center Street residence.

During the investigation, police said, they found that Metrano was “selling cocaine to high school age kids and that some kids were allowed to use cocaine inside her residence,” according to police.

Police got a search warrant on Friday. They served the warrant and searched the home.

Police confiscated 2.8 grams of cocaine in a clear plastic bag and a gram of cocaine in a silver spoon.

Police also summonsed to court two people who were in the residence. One was charged with possessing a Class D drug (marijuana) with the intent to distribute and other with possessing a Class B drug (cocaine).
